Margaret Pendergrast
Executive Assistant

Native Texan Margaret Pendergrast was born in San Antonio, and relocated to Katy, Texas with her family in 1976. A graduate of James E. Taylor High School, Margaret attended McLennan Community College, in Waco, Texas, studying Child Care and Development. Margaret joined the DSEA family in 2004, having served as Executive Administrative Assistant and Office Manager since that time. She enjoys her work in the Katy office, and was able to join the team on the mission field for the first time in May of 2010 in Nairobi, Kenya. Margaret shared her testimony and encouraged thousands of people with her clear, heart-felt communication of the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Margaret received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior on April 18, 1996. Active in her church, Second Baptist Church Houston's West Campus, and in the SBC Worship Choir, she finds herself growing in the Lord and learning how to effectively share the Gospel with passion and love. She is the Missions Coordinator for her Bible Study class and has been a Champions For Life teammate, serving with Bill Glass Prison Ministry, of Dallas, Texas since 1999.
Meeting new people, sharing her faith and spending time with family and friends are among her favorite pastimes. Margaret resides in Katy with her husband, Mark, and son, Jeff.
