Steven Stockwell and Dan Grindstaff On Mission:
Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, and Beyond
June 1-August 24, 2010
Steven Stockwell, the Stockwells' youngest son, spent 14 weeks, or 100 days, on mission in Africa, having traveled to Kenya in mid-May and to Tanzania in July, presenting the Gospel in many churches, schools and other venues. Steven worked with the DSEA Team on mission in Nairobi in May, then traveled to Kisumu, Kenya for more ministry opportunities. He also ministered in Migori, Kenya, reaching many people in this rural area with the message of Christ. Steven has already reached more than 10,000 people during his time in Africa, and has seen many of those people pray the Sinner's Prayer, and indicate their desire to follow Christ with all their hearts. Steven joined the DSEA Team in Dar Es Salaam for the mission there, and has continued on to other parts of Tanzania with DSEA Staff Evangelist Dan Grindstaff. Steven and Dan ministered together in Africa through August 23rd, and reached many people with a clear presentation of the wonderful Good News Of Jesus Christ!

Amy & David Stockwell led a team of six from America and more than fifty evangelists, pastors, and Christian workers in Kenya, on a mission outreach project targeting youth in the schools and people who do not know the Lord Jesus Christ in Nairobi, Kenya, May 18-June 1. The mission project was organized by the DSEA N.E.S.T. (National Evangelist Support Team)Kenya team from Kisumu, in conjunction with the DSEA office in Texas.
The teams spoke in more than forty schools all over the Nairobi area; more than thirteen thousand people heard a clear presentation of the Gospel, and over six thousand of those people prayed to receive Christ and indicated their desire to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!
The project began with a two-day conference for 170 pastors and evangelists, and culminated in nine crusade events in three different parts of the city, known as "slum" areas. The final crusade events were attended by more than 3,000 people, with David Stockwell preaching the CityCelebration in the well-known Kibera slum in Nairobi. More than one million people live in Kibera, which is an area slightly less than one square mile in size. Please pray for the DSEA Kenyan team, as well as pastor, evangelists, missionaries and Christian workers who are doing the work of discipleship and on-going evangelism in Nairobi.

How shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher?
And how shall they preach unless they are sent?
